A REAL Love Story

So I have been having a hard time putting my feelings about President Hinckley's death into words. At first, it just doesn't seem like it really has happened. And then I start to feel sad when I think about how it will be not to see him at Conference or even just on tv waiving his cane around. And then I start to feel guilty, because he has lived a long, wonderful life, and he is back with his dear Marjorie again. This is the continuous cycle that I have been on since Sunday.
Then I saw this picture on BYU's website, and although it makes me cry, they are happy tears! To know that in a world that is full of divorce and infidelity and horrible feelings and actions between husbands and wives, there are still some couples that truly do love eachother. And for couples like President and Sister Hinckley, it is a bond that will last forever. What greater joy can there be than to live forever with somebody who loves and cherishes you!?! And how much better will the world be if we all try to have marriages like this one! (Or at least hope to have one someday for those of us that aren't married) ;-) So although I am really going to miss him, I am so happy that he is back with Sister Hinckley and that they will never be separated again!
And on a related note, my friend Kayla has on her blog a link to her dad's website (he writes beautiful piano arrangements) who has a song that he put on there in memory of President Hinckley, so go check it out.
(Well I can't figure out how to put the link in for her blog, so go to Kayla's blog and it is the entry titled "We Ever Pray For Thee")

Thanks Alecia. We also received the words and story behind the hymn the Tabernacle Choir sang at his funeral which he wrote the words and Janice Kapp Perry the music. I copied off the song which was available with the story. I will check yours out and I will see if I can forward the e-mail to you. I have had similar feelings about Pres Hinckley as well! Will miss him terribly!!!!
